Symbolic of the Hourglass, our firm utilizes a combined top-down and bottom-up investment approach. We are value-oriented, fundamental investors. A top-down analysis of macro-economic factors guides our view on portfolio weightings and client exposures. Our bottom-up process highlights assets disconnected from their true intrinsic values. We believe assets prices and intrinsic values are highly correlated over the long term. Our goal is to exploit the disparity between market prices and longer term values.
